they are soft , and look just as pictured. a bit on the smaller side because most duvets are huge, but over all lovelyi like that if feels thicker than my last duvet. the zipper is in between two fabrics, the top which is marbled & the bottom which is gray. it’s tricky to zip due to the fact of the extra fabric getting in the path of the zipper. other than that no complaints ☺️
