I've been through several fleece blankets, and inevitably, they start pilling or chunking up and getting scratchy after a few washes. This one is perfection (I bought the dark blue.) It started soft and stayed soft through three or four washes so far. It's warm and cozy, and the perfect size and weight. I know a few people below have complained that their blanket sheds, but mine has not shed in the slightest. Since my partner has abandoned his lesser blanket and keeps trying to share mine, we invariably end up in a parasomniac tug of war at least once or twice a week. Ergo, I just bought another one, and I also purchased one for our daughter at college. (The seller has not bribed me for this review, which is honest.)I bought the white blanket. In title it says white strip however where click on color it says white. I did not pay attention to title when I purchased. I think seller should change this. Anyway blanket is very soft, warm and no fuzz when washed and dried. The strip is a light light very and only noticeable under light. I will keep it because of its quality and warmth.I have a king size bed and in the summer I don't use a comforter just a blanket like this. This is the first one that is large enough to hang over the side of the bed and covers the matteress totally. I'm quite satisfied.We needed an oversized blanket for a deep 14 inch bed.
