These sheets are NOT "luxurious" or "indulgently soft." It is doubtful that they are even 1000 count as they do not come close to feeling like other 1000 thread count sheets I already own. The gold color is neither "subtle" or "sophisticated." It is a gaudy yellow and does not match the photo of gold shown on the listing. The tag on the sheets do not have any brand name listed, only "Egyptian Cotton" and "Made in India." Rather than coming in a "Beautiful Zippered Package," they come in the standard plastic linen bag with a generic label from SRP Linen not "Luxury Egyptian Bedding" as stated on the listing. Finally, they are not "Wrinkle free." I had to have sheets for a new Cal. King bed, so I had to wash them and put them on the bed right away; otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to return them. I paid more for these than other selections because I wanted the higher thread count and I got sucked in by the listing description. But, these sheets do not live up to the marketing hype and are not worth the amount paid. Very disappointing.
