This product is absolutely not 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton - oh the labels say it is but that is not true if you have every slept on 600 tc or higher Egyptian bedding. While the overall weight of the sheets would indicate that it is higher quality, it is in no way soft. It has the scratchy consistency of 250 tc bedding - you would sleep on softer bedding from a discount superstore. I have tried washing in cold with mild detergent on the delicate cycle to no avail - they are simply poor quality sheets. Which, by the way, we don't have to wash our other high quality sheets in this manner. Grossly disappointed to be out a good chunk money for such a poor product. Am I picky on my bedding? Heck yeah, that is why I only sleep on high quality 1000 tc or higher Egyptian bedding. In 15+ years of sleeping and buying high quality thread count Egyptian cotton I have not had this problem once. The only thing I can see using this bed for is a full body exfoliation from how rough the sheets are against your skin. (Even my husband -who could care less -said it is the scratchiest sheets we own.)
